Ancient roots

Frascole: A Historic Tuscan Winery on the Borderlands. Just steps through the vineyards of this small hamlet lies a place where breathtaking views unfold—overlooking the Mugello and Valdisieve valleys toward the distant hills embracing Florence. Significant archaeological finds reveal grape cultivation here dating back to the Etruscans and the ancient Comana people.

At elevations between 300-500 meters, Chianti Rufina's unique altitude and climate create ideal conditions for premium wine production. Here, our artisanal wines are carefully crafted from vineyard to cellar to bottle. We blend native Tuscan grape varieties—including Sangiovese and Trebbiano—with select international cultivars that thrive in this distinctive terroir, revealing surprising depth and character.
Reds and whites are made from both native vines, such as Sangiovese and Trebbiano, but also non-native ones, which, when exposed to this land, reveal intriguing characteristics.

Every bottle is meticulously monitored to preserve its distinctive character. Our crowning achievement, Vinsanto DOC, a fortified wine crafted from Trebbiano grapes, requires over a decade of careful aging. These same sun-soaked hills also nurture our olive groves, yielding premium extra virgin olive oil.

Since 1992, the Lippi and Santoni families have personally championed sustainable viticulture and olive cultivation, deeply committed to preserving the landscape and protecting our environment. All our wines and oils have been certified organic since 1999, reflecting our unwavering dedication to pure, natural production.

Our historic medieval village combines authentic rural charm with modern comfort. Whether you're seeking an agriturismo experience or a Tuscany retreat, we offer fully independent cottages, each with its own private garden.

Guests enjoy exclusive access to our oasis—a resort-style swimming pool set amid vineyards and olive groves, offering panoramic countryside and woodland views. Experience Tuscany's cultural treasures while surrounded by serene natural beauty.
